We believe that in order to provide effective ministry to students and families, we need to have a plan. This page contains the anchors that guide what we do as we serve teenagers.
We think for a 7th-12th graders there are certain aspects of truth that they must understand in the stage of life they are walking in. During the teenage years certain habits and principles must be applied in order to lay a foundation for the life and choices that are to come!
The student ministry at Hope exists to connect students to live the life of a Jesus follower. We’ve focused the vision of Hope for students in this way:
We desire to see students..
…who abides in Christ. We are passionate about seeing students understand who they are in light of who He is and how that changes their life! (ABIDE)
…in community and in their church. We desire to see students growing from seat fillers to servants who live life together in community! (CONNECT)
…to share in God’s mission both locally and globally. We strive to see teenagers understand and become passionate about expanding God’s kingdom with their life and their lips. (SHARE)
Everything we do as a ministry — whether an event, a service, or a serving opportunity — is focused on walking students through this discipleship process!
Here are some important ways to be connected with what’s happening with our student ministry!
