Hope Students

Hope Students exists to connect students to live the life of a Jesus follower.

We believe that in order to provide effective ministry to students and families, we need to have a plan. This page contains the anchors that guide what we do as we serve teenagers.

We think for a 6th-12th graders there are certain aspects of truth that they must understand in the stage of life they are walking in. During the teenage years certain habits and principles must be applied in order to lay a foundation for the life and choices that are to come!

Hope Students meet weekly in an environment called Converge at 6:30pm every Wednesday!

We’ve focused the mission of Hope for students in this way:

We exist to connect students to live the life of a Jesus follower. We believe that a Jesus follower is someone who..

…in Christ. We are passionate about seeing students understand who they are in light of who He is and how that changes their life!

…their church. We desire to see students growing from seat fillers to servants who live life together in community!

…in God’s mission both locally and globally. We strive to see teenagers understand and become passionate about expanding God’s kingdom with their life and their lips.

Everything we do as a ministry — whether an event, a service, or a serving opportunity — is focused on walking students through this discipleship process!

Our goal is to provide an open atmosphere where students can know that they matter. Where students can be honest, open, heard, accepted, and equipped to live as a light for Christ, no matter what the cost! We do this by...

Students Reaching Students

  • Extending the love of Christ to friends.
  • Being a light to those in darkness.
  • To ignite the passion for God in each other.

Students Teaching Students

  • Increasing in knowledge of God’s Word.
  • Growing in the character of Christ.

Students Influencing the World

  • Serving in the church.
  • Serving in the community
  • Serving in the world.
