"But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God." Philippians 4:18

In the theater, those performing on stage usually get all the credit. However, those on stage cannot perform for the audience unless those behind-the-scenes are doing their job. Epaphroditus, though only mentioned twice in Paul’s letter to the Philippians, plays a huge role in this book. He was the one chosen to ensure that Paul received the financial gift. He was also the one who carried the letter from Paul back to the church at Philippi. So this makes Epaphroditus one of the very first short-term missionaries in the history of the church! Many of us may not be called to go on mission long-term in another part of the world, but many of us can sacrifice two weeks to engage in His Kingdom activity.

How are you using the time that you have to engage in the mission short-term?
