Paul never forgot his dear brother, Timothy. Not only was he incredibly encouraged by the faith that Timothy had, but he also faithfully and lovingly remembered him in his prayers. This is one of the most powerful acts that a believer can do for one another: to constantly be saturating each other in prayer! James 5:16 says that “the effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” The prayers of your brothers and sisters in Christ will spur on some of the greatest movements of God! We say it often here at Hope: that God in His sovereignty has chosen to limit His activity to the prayers of His people. Here’s what that means: there are some things that God will only accomplish in the lives of Jesus followers as we pray for one another.

Do you have people constantly praying for you? Are you praying for someone consistently?
