When a group of world-class mountaineers scale the world’s highest peaks, exhaustion usually sets in near the peak. However, it’s the summit that keeps them going. The outcome is worth the tiring trek. Spiritually speaking, Jesus followers can become weary and fatigued by praying constantly for something or for someone in their lives. This verse communicates that believers must, with great intentionality and consistency, continue to pray even though an answer doesn’t seem to be coming. If God’s not answering, keep pressing into Him because a lack of clarity is always an invitation to deeper intimacy. The outcome will definitely be worth the journey! Know this: God always answers prayer. His answers are “yes”, “no”, or “wait.”
