"And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You." Psalm 9:10

Psalm 9:10
“And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.” – Psalm 9:10

Life brings all kinds of difficult trials, and often we find ourselves very alone going through them.  It could be that the enemy has lied to you and led you to believe you are the only person who has ever faced this kind of situation, and you believe it.  Or that your friends are tired of hearing about the troubles in your life, and you believe it.  You begin to think that those who know you have forsaken you, and you turn inward.  It is in this time that you have to remember that the enemy is a liar and wants to destroy you.  The word forsake means to give up or leave someone or something entirely.  And while some friends may actually turn away, there is one Friend who will never forsake you.  The only way to recall this truth in difficult times is by spending time taking it in daily.  The only thing Jesus spoke to combat the lies of the enemy was the Word of God.  How much more should we?

How can you begin to build your arsenal with God’s Word for when the enemy comes at you with his lies?  Arm yourself, starting today!
